How to Win at Omaha High-Low Poker By Mike Cappelletti

Review by Howard Berenbon

If you are new to the Omaha High-Low Poker or even have some experience, you owe it to yourself to get the best advice on playing. Well I am glad you stopped by because Mike Cappelletti's book "How to Win at Omaha High-Low Poker" will help you get started. It's a complete course on the game with  basics, tips and playing strategies you want and need to learn before you play.  It's 229 pages filled with expert advice you'll need. Ten chapters cover everything you'll need to know to play to win. One good piece of advice is to gear your play towards "scooping" or winning whole pots with "how to" examples. Much advice is offered before and after the "flop" which is the term for revealing the last 3 cards used by all players along with their 4 initially dealt cards. Mike also offers some wise advice on betting so you don't get sucked into betting a potentially losing hand.

The book is not quite new, published in 2003 by Cordoza Publishing in Las Vegas, but the advice and instruction value isn't diminished over the years. It's what you need to know to play wisely.
